The monitoring and surveillance of the Vélodrome Stadium in Marseille represents a particular challenge.
Indeed, the stadium continues to host the soccer games of the Olympique de Marseille throughout the construction period.
The monitoring system put in place must be adaptable and able to manage completely opposite situations of security, in turn an empty space and a place of very large crowds gathering. It is to respond to this safety problem out of the ordinary that the Vigitower system has been selected by AREMA (Bouygues) to monitor the site.
Thanks to the flexibility of its procedures, the Vigitower system can be quickly configured to suit different monitoring situations.
The operators of the dedicated monitoring center (CTS) indeed have the ability to modify the alert management and monitoring criterias to meet new security issues.
Each Vigitower analyzes the footage and immediately qualifies the alerts before sending them to the CTS. The Vigitower systems communicating with each other, the reception and management of the alerts by the monitoring center is organized as a group.
