GINT Services : Research & Development

With this in mind and in order to maintain its technological edge and leadership position in the market of mobile video surveillance, GINT spends over 30% of its budget on Research and Development. A group of more than 15 employees are constantly working on improving and optimizing the security systems and software developed by GINT. The research on the integration and optimization of the use of new technologies in the field of mobile video surveillance is one of the key aspects of GINT’s R&D department.

Thanks to this innovation-focused strategy, GINT is now able to offer a wide range of products and of high-performance software dedicated to secure specific areas through mobile video surveillance: the VigiTower solution and its software suite (VTGM, VTRV, VTGI, VTVS). Also, the R&D department enabled GINT to develop strong competencies in new technology implementation in the field of security and video surveillance (RFID tags, location-based fleet management, wireless stock management, access control, video surveillance image analysis). Working towards the optimization of the use of available and future technologies, GINT currently develops an application for smartphones and tablets (IOS & Android) to allow a remote mobile access to the client portal of the Vigitower software (Vigitower geolocalisation, live stream access, remote control of PYZ dome, alerts access, process management…). This application will enable clients and users of the Vigitower system a greater mobility as well as an immediate and personal management of the alerts and settings of the Vigitowers.
